cameras not attached problem in windows 10
hi my name is rashi I work for a pipe fitting Divya darshan Mumbai and I am dell inspiron A6 user i have been using it more then 10 months but i am not able to use its camera for video calling or for skype when ever i open the camera app it say the camera are not attached i have even tried to fix it but cannot fix it.need help please sugggest me cannot display my contact details u can contact me from my page- "private link removed"

You should say which exact model computer and operating system you have. Open Skype or your video chat program first--before trying to access the camera. It should access the camera automatically.

I got the same error "Camera not attached" and it wasn't to find anywhere, nor under Imaging Devices in Device Manager, nor in the installed drivers. Turned out it was my sound/recording setting as I disabled the microphone.
Right click on the taskbar speaker icon -> Sounds -> Recording tab -> right click on Internal Microphone and choose "enable". Camera works.
