Thank you for your message. For a system to be eligible for an international warranty two conditions must be met.

1. The system should have a premium onsite warranty
2. The system model should be available in the region you move to.

In the case, since you have a basic mail-in warranty your system is not eligible for a part replacement under warranty.

However, if the system model is available in India, you can pay for the part & get the drive replaced.
