Clean Windows install on Precision 7670
Hello everyone,
I am trying to perform a clean windows install on my precision 7670, but need a little guidance. In the past, I would simple use the windows media creation tool to create a bootable flash drive, change the boot order, boot off of this flash drive, delete all the partitions, let windows create any partitions it wants automatically, and then I was done. Now , when I get to the step of selecting which drive to install windows on, the list is blank. After doing some research, I understand that I need to install intel's rapid storage driver either on my bootable flash drive or on a separate flash drive and load that driver once I am at the drive selection step. My question is, what is the correct version of the driver to install? Some people say that only a particular variation will work.
Is this the correct driver?
Thanks everyone!

Quick question, does this work on a 12th gen processor? It specifically lists 11th gen. I also do not see a zip file to download, just an .exe

Sadly, I don't know as much as I should about the terminology, but the drive I am booting from has UEFI in its name in the boot order list.

What type of drive do you have in your system?
Are you booting the install media as UEFI?
