What is the computer model and the OS installed  Does the system show any diagnostic LED's?

To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them.  Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Hi, this is a common Windows boot loop issue. Try these steps in order:

1. Hard reset: Power off, unplug charger, remove battery (if removable), then press and hold the Power button for 30–60 seconds. Reconnect and power on.

2. Force into Recovery Environment: Power on, and as soon as the Dell logo appears, hold the power button until it shuts off. Repeat 3 times. On the 4th boot, Windows will open Automatic Repair → Advanced options.

3. Run Startup Repair: Go to Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Startup Repair.

4. Try Safe Mode: Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Startup Settings → Restart → press 4. If it loads, uninstall the latest Windows Update or recent driver, then restart.

5. Repair system files: Open Command Prompt from Advanced options and run:

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=C:\ /offwindir=C:\Windows
chkdsk C: /f /r
bootrec /rebuildbcd

6. Run Dell Diagnostics: Power off, then power on and tap F12 → select Diagnostics. This will check the hard drive and RAM for hardware faults.

7. If nothing works: Use Reset this PC → Keep my files from the Advanced options menu.

Could you also share the Inspiron model number, Windows version (10 or 11), and the result of the F12 Diagnostics test? That will help identify the exact cause.
