dead spot on screen
it seems that in the center of my screen, if I try to get any program to acknowledge the fact that I have pressed my mouse button to cause an appropriate reaction, nothing will happen. At first I thought it was only on certain programs but as I started to pay closer attention to my other programs I noticed it was happening in every one. Add this to my 3593's continual locking up so that I have to wait 5 to 10 minutes so I can move on. This is the worst computer I have ever owned and I will NEVER buy another Dell Computer!
Any ideas on how to fix my screen problem? All advice is helpful

Version of BIOS?
Version of Windows?
After there's no response to a mouse click in center of screen, will PC respond immediately if you move the pointer somewhere else and click?
Does this only happen with the mouse or also when clicking using the touchpad?
Have you tried a different mouse?
Is mouse wired or wireless? Connected to which USB port, USB2 or USB3?
Do you have the latest mouse driver installed?

It seems like you're experiencing a problem where the center of your screen is unresponsive to mouse clicks and your Dell computer frequently locks up. To troubleshoot the screen issue, try adjusting the mouse settings, updating the mouse drivers, or connecting a different mouse to see if the problem persists. For the computer lockup issue, you can try updating the operating system, running a thorough antivirus scan, or checking for any conflicting software or drivers that may be causing the problem. If these steps don't resolve the issues, it might be helpful to seek technical support from Dell or consider consulting a computer technician for further assistance.

This could be an issue with the LCD panel. To isolate the issue follow below mentioned steps.
Refer bellow link which has information about Dell Pixel policy:

@AdrianG001 - The OP doesn't say it's a "dark pixel". It's a central area of the screen where Windows doesn't detect mouse clicks. So it's a non-responsive area, which suggests an issue with the hardware (mouse), drivers, and/or Windows, and probably not really an LCD hardware issue. (NOTE: This PC model doesn't have a touch screen, so that's not the issue.)
@Steve Murabito needs to answer the questions I posted above to get a better understanding of the problem.
