Dell 7577 overheating
Hello, I've noticed high overheating with cpu in my laptop while gaming, my laptop is dell 7577 with 7700HQ I7 CPU and GTX 1050TI GPU. The CPU temperature is 85-100 degrees C. and GPU stays below 80C. I've also noticed that CPU clock stays at 3400MHZ+ and CPU doesn't even thermal throttles at 90+C temperature, only for a few seconds it lowers its clocks. Also I would like to mention that I'm using MSI Afterburner to monitor these details in game, also this is the first time I'm seeing this behavior with the system, It worked just fine before, with CPU temps below 85C and GPU temps below 70C.

Hello,
You know Either You system too old or you play A lot of game. Gaming uses a lot of power. Your CPU is working hard to process that game data, which needs a lot of power. GPU is working hard and they usually need more power than the CPU.
There are some tweaks you do to fix that overheating.
You have to Clean the dust and replace the thermal grease.
Then you Fix the airflow inside the cooling system.
check to make sure none of your ventilation ports are blocked

Thank you for your message. Is this issue observed only in a particular game?
Run a CPU & GPU stress test on Dell Support Assist & check the FPS attained & if there is any thermal error.
Download & save the Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework driver (IDPTF) to your desktop screen. Open device manager – expand IDPTF & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver) do not restart the computer. Install the IDPTF saved on your desktop.
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
