DELL BIOS UPGRADE: missing bios access at start
I reinstalled Windows 10 through Reset PC. I had great problems trying to do a clean install from Boot as I couldn't get into the boot screen. To do this I had set the Legacy option with the unfortunate result of not being able to access the computer anymore. I had to DISASSEMBLE ALL THE LAPTOP and disconnect the CMOS battery (only thanks to a tutorial found on Youtube and my skill with screwdrivers: a normal user would have thrown the computer!).
After that, I was able to log back into the operating system and re-installed windows 10 with the factory settings. I noticed that after a DELL BIOS update (the second one, if I'm not mistaken) the bios access options on the splash screen disappeared again. The writing DELL disappears and the possibility to enter the BIOS setup: the f2 and f12 keys (which previously appeared to me at the bottom with the DELL logo in the center, before starting Win 10) are now disappeared and if I press f2 or f12 BEFORE when starting win10 nothing happens and I don't access the BIOS anymore.
Anyone can explain why? Do I need to re-install windows 10 without installing DELL BIOS updates?
This situation is absurd !!!

You need to post your model computer. Tap F12 as soon as you reboot without waiting for any screen. Keep tapping to get to the Boot Menu.

Hi my laptop is a 7559 Dell Inspiron 7000. It is impossible to access the Bios with any computer function key. I think it may be a new "security" mode of Windows 10. It can be accessed from within Windows but some features are not accessible, such as rebooting from USB, for example. I had the misfortune to choose the "Legacy" option instead of "Uefi" in the attempts and this cost me dearly. I had to take the laptop apart and unplug the CMOS battery to go back to a BIOS reset. An absurd thing because the average user would have thrown the laptop in this case. I don't understand how this is possible!

Ciao, As I wrote, you have to take apart the laptop and disconnect the CMOS battery to go back to a BIOS recovery.
For me it was the only way to reset the laptop. But you have to open the laptop and take apart.
