Dell G3 gaming problem
When I use my laptop to play games or do heavy work that uses its GPU to full load, the battery drains, despite the fact that it is plugged in.
Is this normal? My specs are i7 8750H and 1050ti and i was provided with a 130W adapter, instead of the 180W they offer to higher-end specs. I feel like the CPU is very power hungry and needs way more power than the adapter can provide, that's why the battery is slowly draining under full load even when it is plugged in.
Is this a design flaw? Should I ask Dell for the 180W adapter?

Some Gaming Laptops are designed to support hybrid power mode which takes the advantage of using for a smaller and lite weight adapter. When the system total power requirement is more than the capacity of AC adapter, the system will start consuming the battery power without sacrificing the performance. With this design, you may encounter the battery drain situation when the system is running certain applications such as 3D games which may put both discrete graphics & processor in heavy loading status.
This is working as designed as this system has the hybrid power mode as standard.

All of that is ok but when l play heavy game, game lag alot and i couldn't play
So, I need to know if i purchase a 180W AC adapter is good as a solution
Or a way to equall battery performance to AC performance
