DELL INSPIRON 15 3573 HALF SCREEN DISPLAY WHITE
My laptop was recently bought three months ago and my warranty expired. After reading some pdf file for an hour half of my screen stuck on the image but half of it was working fine (horizontally) i did plug out the battery shut it down but after i restart it nothing happen it did not solved the problem. My screen display upper half was whitish but you can see some display on it. i already run diagnostic but it doesn't seem to find the problem. I didn't drop my laptop and i was just suprised that this happen i already ran the diagnostic test color test but at no luck nothing happen. i did reset my laptop but nothing happened.

Does the screen diagnostic (hold D through powerup) show a good image, or the same fault?

Run a screen self-test (hold D through powerup). If the same fault shows, replace the screen with a new one.
If not, check the video cable that connects the mainboard to the display. If it's broken (check the connectors at both ends and the cable in between), and it's not a touchscreen system, replace the cable. If it IS a touchscreen, replace the display.
If nothing shows up there, that leaves the mainboard as the faulty part.

If you're seeing the same fault during the screen diagnostics, replace the display panel or, if it's a touchscreen system, the display assembly.
