Display issue

I have a dell inspiron 5567 laptop. It's only 1 year old. Today, i have seen in the evening that a thin horizontal line is showing on my screen. How can i sure it would be a hardware or software problem or my laptop screen is faulty. I didn't keep any weighted things on my laptop so that it could be happened.  Please tell me anyone what's the problem with my laptop.
