ePSA 4306.10

Hi, I recently started noticing frequent freezing or hanging issue on Inspiron 15 Gaming 7577. Upon running the diagnostics I have the error code, ePSA 4306.10 with message ‘one or more errors detected’. I have searched internet for this code but cannot find it. Any help or guidance as to how to resolve would been hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,

try going to this page and lookup what the errors mean but you will need the error code without the 2000 prefix and the validation code and your system service tag.

You need to run the diagnostics outside of Windows -- not the Support Assist.  Press F12 at powerup a few times to get into the Dell diagnostics.

Hi, Thanks for sharing the link. I tried and it always ends up as invalid ePSA request

Thanks. I ran diagnostics and event logs states as "The battery is reaching the end of its usable life". Wondering why battery issue results in freezing of laptop. One of the recommended action is suggested to update BIOS. Let me try that.

It wouldn't - not directly.  Hanging or freezing is more commonly an issue with software or drivers than a hardware failure.

BIOS and all other drivers were up to date. Is really battery the real culprit here? Unbelievable.
