Error 0xc0000225

Hi, My laptop is getting this message and I've been unable to troubleshoot it. My latest attempt was to reboot the machine via BIOS through a USB drive. However, I have not been able to access BIOS mode, despite trying every possible combination of keys. Has anyone had a similar problem and able to resolve it? Thank you! Guy

You could try a CMOS (BIOS) memory clear as a first step.

This requires opening the PC and removing the CR2032 battery located on the motherboard for at least 10 minutes.

You didn't include your PC model number so I can't link you to the Dell manual for your specific model.

However, access  Dell Support and you can then get the manual for your model and the instructions on removing/installing the CMOS battery.

Thank you very much!

The Reg Model is P28F. Does this help?

Thanks again

No, the Inspiron model number is needed, such as Inspiron 15, 5577.
