Extended Warranty issues.

I purchased an Insprion 15 3511 last year, and have had nothing but issue with it. Hanging, freezing USB connections and finally corrupted BIOS.  I called tech support many times with pretty much no help.  Finally the warranty ran out and I had to purchase an extended warranty.  This ended up being useless and I consider it a scam.  No support and finally they told me I needed to purchase additional coverage as it was a software issue.  When I called customer service to get a quote to upgrade, they were rude, and told me they had to go answer other calls, and would call me back.  Never did. 

To say I am unsatisfied with Dell is an understatement.  This is especially hard for me, as I was a Sr. Manager at Dell, for the Laptop product development in the early 2000's and quality and customer experience was paramount at that time.  I was responsible for creating the concept of "Advanced Quality Engineering: for Dell.  Wow, has Dell changed priorities!  I was always a cheerleader for Dell, even after I left, but now I am forced to buy another brand as my laptop is junk.  Not only that but the customer experience I have had was beyond poor.  I now have to accept the fact that Dell is not the company that I was so proud to work at those years ago.
