External microphone not detecting
Hello, I have one a problem with my laptop dell inspiron 7577. It doesn't see any external microphone. I installed different Realtek drivers, but that didn’t help. Now i am using High Difinition Audio and external microphone doesn't working. What should I do?
Also, I don't know why, but icon of Realtek doesn't show in the bottom panel (near date and time).
I think that problem with Windows, I can't start rtkngui64.

I also have the same problem .
I own an inspiron 7537 laptop with windows 10 . Default speakers and mic work fine .
This model has only one combined jack on the right side . When i plug in my handsfree headset ( one from my mobile phone ) the speakers work fine but the mic is not , the laptop keeps recording from the default microphone.
When i plug in the headset i get an notification ( see attached photo )
when i go to sound settings on input i see only 2 settings
microphone (Realtek high definition )
stereo mix (Realtek high definition )
On both the result is the same .
on sound control panel on recording tab i can see the following screens .
i have tried updating drivers but nothing worked .
Could you please help me on that ?
