Factory reset HELP

I'm wondering how long it takes to do a full factory reset it has been 4 hours in the beginning of the reset I had the progression screen but halfway through that disappeared and it's been nothing but the Dell light blue background should I continue and wait again how many hours does it usually take

Factory Reset Does not fix physically bad hard drives. So the time to fix may be never.

How long it takes depends on the specific system. Speed of the devices plus how much data might be involved and how much free space on the hard drive all play roles.

I always like to watch the hard drive activity light, if you have one. If it gets into a repeating sequence, you MAY have a problem. Glad it finished.

Hi sorry to but in, I started a factory reset on my daughters computer on Sunday it is now Tuesday and it’s still going does that mean I have a problem or is it just very slow?
