Failed driver installation, slow wifi. Help!

I've got a Dell Inspiron 5570, Windows 10, 64 bit, and the wifi is much slower than it had been and than it should be. I think (though am not sure) the issue started with a failed driver installation through Dell Update.

Dell Update says my system is up to date, but when I go on the dell support home page, it scans my system and says I have a driver that needs installation. See this image:

When I try to download and install it, the driver will download but it fails to install when it's 91% installed.

I tried installing the driver by downloading the installation application for the driver via my browser instead of the download manager, but I get an error message when I try to install it. See below:

I also tried extracting the correct driver from that installation application downloaded from Dell Support via my browser, but I'm either not doing it right or am unable to do so (the ProSetEnterprise and Wifi 10 installed fine).  See below:

When I go to the application list in the control panel, I don't know what to uninstall if anything. Nothing looked right to me.

I've tried going into the device manager, selecting the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 device and uninstalling and deleting the files for recent drivers, restarting my machine, and then reinstalling the most recent version via Windows Update and at other times via Intel's website. I've also tried various combinations of retrying the driver applications I got through Dell. Nothing enables the Dell Driver to install, and nothing increases the internet speed. I haven't gone so far as to delete the first two drivers for that device because I'm worried I won't be able to fix it after that. One is from 2015 and one from 2017, which seems to predate my owning this computer bought new direct from Dell in 2018. I can't seem to recreate the info that tells the dates but I remember it from perusing around.

Just now though I did see this and wonder if the fact that these are all 32 bit has anything to do with this problem? My OS is Windows 10 Home 64 bit

I looked around online and saw some folks talking about Smart Byte, so I've followed the directions here: https://www.dell.com/support/article/en-us/sln309274/troubleshooting-network-performance-issues-on-i...

Uninstalling it completely seemed to have the same effect as updating to the most recent version.

This has increased my internet speed ever so slightly to maybe 30mbps, but other devices in the same location are picking up 100mbps on wifi, and when I'm plugged into the modem, I'm getting 300mbps.

I don't fully understand how drivers get saved or installed, so I'm not confident in any of this. If anyone can help me get higher wifi speeds on my computer, I'd be really appreciative!!! I like many folks these days am reliant on video calls, so I need to get this under control.

Thanks,
EC
