Yeah my system is also overheating. I am using a gaming laptop in which playing games is not possible Lol. I hope dell resolves this issue asap.
Also I already tried updating all the Alienware drivers and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling... but had no luck! Nothing changed

Unfortunately a LOT of people are having this problem, since an update in either March or May. I'm on a G7 and have the same exact problem. Can't use the G-shift / Game-Shift feature (regardless of method) to fire up the internal fans easily anymore. Had to resort to a stupid desk fan, just to keep the computer from melting THROUGH said desk. Dell really needs to sort this out, because a lot of people are complaining about it, and could be ruining their laptops by running them too hot.
But to actually try and help, there was a set of new drivers for Alienware Command Center released on Sept. 9th. You can try checking your device on Dell's driver site. But I've tried this several times in the past few months, and it hasn't quite worked yet, so don't get your hopes up. I'm still currently in the process of trying to get this current update to work.
