G3 - Memory error on waking up

I just bought a G3 which is awesome however I'm having a small issue that appears to be occuring with many of Dell's laptop's.  That issue is I get a message -" An operating system exception was caused by system memory" - whenever the laptop wakes up from sleep. Since I just received the laptop and ran all the updates, I can't tie the error to a bios update or a software update but after seeing the various posts on the error it looks like it's tied to a bios update. I had another issue that was caused by the Alienware software which I corrected by deleting the software.  I'm a little disappointed with Dell since these errors appear to have been ongoing for a while as well as across different models based on the posts I've seen.  I don't like have to live with this issue so I would like to know what Dell is doing about it
