G7 7700 Thunderbolt Firmware Update? Intel Security Advisory SA-00401
Hello,
I would like to ask if the Thunderbolt 3 controller built in G7 7700 is at risk of the security vulnerabilities described in Intel Security Advisory: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00401.html
Thunderbolt Control Center says my NVM firmware version is 58. This leads me to believe the built in Thunderbolt controller is of the Intel JHL7xxx series.
Now if this would be correct then G7 7700 is still at risk of Intel SA-00401. Can someone at Dell please check and get back to me about the presumably upcoming patch? ETA?

Check the driver page in the second week of September. There will be an updated Thunderbolt controller update. This will address any security issues reported in the advisory.
