Ghost Bubbles (pointer controlling moving circles)
I have an Inspiron 5558 Signature Edition (I am almost positive came as a touchscreen, which originally worked). I am running Windows 10 version 22H2. I have had the same problem since I bought it, ghost like circles that appear and disappear that seem to take control of the touchpad pointer even minimizing windows, opening and closing applications. It last about 3 seconds or more. During that time, I have no control over the touchpad pointer. It is definitely not a screen hardware issue. It usually happens when I first boot up or access the computer after an extended time away (a day or two left on, but not accessed). I have tried multiple fixes, one that must have including disabling the touchscreen, because it no longer appears in the human interface devices section. I have searched for fixes for the last couple years and it is obvious this has been an issue for Dell for the last five or six years. It's hard to believe they don't have a fix. Any help would definitely be appreciated. I would love to have access to the touchscreen (the main feature for selecting this model).
