Hardware Issue

I have Dell Inspiron 3593 Laptop with 4GB RAM 1TB HDD. Now my LAptop is taking too much time to open any apps. Then I contact the Dell Support Team and they asked me to add 4GB RAM or SSD. Now I want to know what is suitable for my laptop, should I go with RAM or with SSD. Please help me in this regard.

    RAM:  www.crucial.com

SSD:  you can either replace the existing hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD, or install an M.2 NVMe drive alongside the existing drive and install (or clone) the operating system over to it.

replacing your HDD with [SSD] will make way more sense than adding RAM.
