Having problem updating Power Manager

While trying to use Dell Power Manager I was asked to update the app. while doing so the installation failed. 

The message read: Dell error 1720. there is a problem with this windows installer package. a script required for this install to complete could not be run. contact your personnel or package vendor. … script error -2147164145; :co

After that I tried using the Microsoft troubleshooter as suggested. I run the troubleshooter program and try to run the Dell Power Manager again.

This time it said : The wizard was interrupted before Dell Power Manager Service could be completely installed.
