HID Complaint touch screen driver not available
I am using Dell Inspirion11-3148 laptop. My touchscreen was working all fine untill i formatted my laptop. Now i dont see it working.
1. I installed all the touch screen drivers
2. "hid-compliant touch screen driver" is not seen in the list of Human Interface Devices
Please help

I do have the same problem. Ask Dell's support, but no luck!

I had the same problem but with the touch pad on the Latitude 3301. Updated windows 10 to 1903 fix my problem.

In mine the small cable was disconnected from the touchscreen, that's why the driver was missing.

I have the same issue. Tried the website drivers but they don't help. My webcam also doesn't work. I reset my entire PC but still no use.

I might have a fix for you...three years later...I had the same issue. I tried a factory reset to no avail, I ended up booting my device in the BIOS menu and had to restore all factory defaults from there to resolve this. Hope that helps!

I had the same issue. I solved it by installing this driver 'AUO LCD Panel Firmware Update' https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-in/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=9cd69&oscode=wt64a&productcode=inspiron-15-7579-2-in-1-laptop

Same problem on two latitude 3120 upgraded to windows 11. I have one working and it shows it.. Going to try to maybe. Flash bios again and if that won't work I may try to clone the laptop that works drive to the one that doesn't. Same exact machine.
