How to turn off Caps locks notification on screen

Please let me know how to turn off the caps lock notification in my Dell Laptop(Windows 11).

I tried turning off the toggle option in the settings through the control panel. Also tried to run control access.cpl to turn it off. I literally tried all methods online and restarted my laptop, but nothing helped. Help me fix this problem as soon as possible.

On my end, I just went to the Dell peripheral App. On the right-hand top side, there's the settings button (engine close to the minimize/close buttons). When you click there, you should see three tabs on the center-left (General, Updates, and Analytics). On General, the first option should be "Enable lock key notifications". Just leave this box unselected. The caps lock notification will stop, no need to reboot PC or anything.

To turn off the caps lock notification in Windows 11 on your Dell Laptop, you can try the following steps:

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type "regedit" and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
  3. Navigate to the following location in the Registry Editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Accessibility\ToggleKeys
  4. Find the "Flags" value in the right-hand pane and double-click on it.
  5. Change the value data from "3" to "0" and click OK.
  6. Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer.

This should disable the caps lock notification on your Dell Laptop. If the problem persists, you can also try updating your keyboard driver or contacting Dell support for further assistance.

like you, I spent a Fair while working this out...

I found removing the following applications removed this

- "Dell peripheral" something

- "dell delivery digital services"

if this does not work, simply remove all dell applications aside from

- any of the dell command update apps

- any of the dell support apps

  1. Press the Windows key on the keyboard and select Settings.
  2. Click System.
  3. Choose Display and click Advanced display settings.
  4. Scroll down and select Display adapter properties.
  5. Click on Screen configurations tab. In Properties window, make sure Enable on-screen display is checked. Under "Indicator settings for NumLock and CapsLock" section, look for "While the numeric lock or caps lock is ON" section, choose the "Show the indicator for a few seconds" option.

If you open Dell Peripheral Manager and then click the settings icon there is a checkbox that says "Enable Lock Key Notifications." Uncheck it and you should be set.

@user_d645eb THIS WORKS!  I also turned off the low battery notification because it continues to give me that warning from the day I bought it and put in new batteries!  Thank you.  It drove me nuts!
