Inspiron 11 3000 series touch screen
Hello Tech team,
My inspiron 11 fell on the floor and it was folded at that time. Next day I unfolded it to start working to find out that the screen looks as below.
Now the screens is functioning normally, but the touch isn't. What do you I do! do i have to replace the whole screen or is there a way that I could fix the touch and get it to work normally again.
regards,
Ahmad

Unfortunately we can see the image or information that you have provided for us to see. This has something to do with the forum, hopefully Dell fix it soon enough.
Secondly, list exact Dell model number and version of windows. Dell Inspiron 3543, windows 10.
If you don't know, type msinfo32 onto search box, stroll down to System model, you should see it now.
In the meantime, it's a possibility the screen need to be replace. The computer falling to the floor could have damaged the screen. Another possibility is the fall could have shaken the LCD cable which cause the touch screen to stop working. The fix usually is to reseat the LCD cable.
Please run the system restore tool on the system to go back to an earlier time before the computer drop to the floor. You could do this by typing Create A Restore Point onto the search box, click System Restore, select Next, and then Show More Restore Points. Select the date before the computer drop to the floor. Hopefully touch screen work normally after using system restore tool.
How To Use System Restore (Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP)
Note: System Restore does not affect any of your documents, pictures, or any other personal data. Recently installed programs and drivers might be uninstalled

If system restore doesn't fix screen:
Please type Device Manager onto search box, expand Human Interface Device, and then look for the touch screen driver is present, see image below): If you see touch screen driver, right click on it, select Properties and then check the Device Status box. It might say "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

Ah yes, I have the same problem and it did not work for me. The driver status said everything was working properly and up to date. But when I fold to tablet mode, the touch screen wont work. Any more advice?
