Inspiron 5515, Windows 11 update issue

Inspiron 5515

Inspiron 5515

The warranty expired August 2022. Shipped with Windows 10 Home. I am already on Windows 11 but I am not able to update my laptop to any future updates? Nothing appears anymore and I tried Windows forced update. This is what I got and I am not able to update my laptop bios anymore.

This article is really confusing... I am already on Windows 11 and what does TSP disk mean?

You may be suffering from the same thing as other Dell systems.  Your system may be keeping images of the Bios update in the EFI system partition, which can cause it to not leave enough free space for Windows to manipulate the contents.

If that is the case, you will need to increase the size of that partition.  We can discuss this further when you make a decision.

For now, you can use an Admin command prompt to run some commands.  These commands place a temporary drive letter on the EFI System partition so you can see how full it is. When you close the Command prompt, the drive letter goes away.

At the end of the listing, you can see 67 MBs free.  If it shows less than 50 MBs free you definitely have this situation.

C:\Windows\System32>mountvol y: /s

C:\Windows\System32>y:

Y:\>dir
Volume in drive Y has no label.
Volume Serial Number is A463-307C

I don't know what to do... I am not able to update my BIOS and not my Windows... I don't know what these partitions are and what I can do for my laptop to make it run smoothly... and what does this mean 'ESP disk space not enough"?
