Inspiron 5594 hinge broken

The  Laptop was purchased in March this year with only few months of usage . when the lid is opened or closed , left side of the screen has popped. 

We did have a conversion with technical support and was told that this is not covered under warranty. I saw there were several complaints about broken hinge. Did anyone has same issue with Inspiron 5594?  It appears the hinge assembly of this type of laptop has bad quality or is possibly defective. I'd appreciate if anyone has any suggestion or advise to resolve this issue. 

So shame on Dell for not helping with the problem.
