Inspiron 7567 not posting
While changing something in the BIOS the laptop crashed and now it won't boot at all. (no video output, no indicator code, no keyboard backlight)
When I press the power button the LED comes on and the fans start at full blast for about 30 seconds and then it turns off.
Taking the RAM out and powering up gives the RAM not found indicator LED code, but no other indicator codes seem to work (CMOS battery, LCD disconnected etc.)
Anything I can try without going to a repair center?

Pre-boot diagnosis does not work?
You could check the link below and use the section about not starting and no video. Using the special procedure to start the system may allow you to recover the Bios or you may find a procedure in the Basic Diagnostics section for other systems.

As the laptop doesn't POST at all I can't get to the diagnostics menu, and there are no LED codes telling me what is the issue.
My concern is that since the laptop crashed while on the BIOS screen it became corrupted so it can't even boot the laptop to the pre-boot diagnostics stage.
Is there a way to force a BIOS flash from a USB device without going through a menu?

This link is the most serious process. I had to use it on another system but have not tried it on the 7567. If you can't even get into the bios and holding the power button and function key during boot does not help, this may be a last ditch effort to recover the boot.

What did you change in the Bios? If you perform the above procedure, you will need to reset the Bios clock and any other settings which may not be the default settings. If there was a Bios Recovery procedure for this system it may also work.

I will try and update.
Also, how do you reset the BIOS clock?

The RTC procedure will reset the clock, you need to set it back to the correct time after you are done with the process.

I don't understand your confusion. The Bios clock needs to show the correct time and date. After you do the RTC procedure, it will go to a default time and date so it will need to be corrected......
If you can you can't get into the Bios, you can't reset it anyway.

NVM, it didn't work. Same thing happened - LED on, fans on and a minute later the laptop shut down.

Hi appex213,
Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.
From your description, it sounds like the motherboard may have malfunctioned. However, more troubleshooting would be required to determine the status.
If you still require assistance and the system is under warranty, you may contact me privately. Be sure to include your personal information (name, address, telephone, email) and your computer's service tag number in your message. Thanks.
If there is no warranty, then you could contact our Out of Warranty team to get a quote for a paid service request.

Hi. My inspiron 15 7567 also has the same problem. I had updated the bios. but suddenly there was a power cut. When I restart, the fan is running at high speed but nothing is displayed on the screen. I don't know if there is a method to flash the bios with a usb key
