Inspiron N7010 Processor Issues
I have an Inspiron N7010 and its been running slow for a few years. I ended up buying a new laptop. I wanted to get this up and running for my daughter for High School.
I noticed the Task manager showed 1 Socket, 1 Core, 1 logical Processor.
This is a Duel Core Processor with HT.
Can anybody tell me how to enable the other core?
Ive been in the BIOS and it doesn't indicate a second core.
I've gone to the advanced Tab and Turbo and all the settings are enabled.
The only thing disabled is USB wake.
MSCONFIG only shows 1 Processor under Advanced Boot.
Is it possible the Processor is damaged?
Thanks for any assistance.
