Keyboard Illumination Color

It depends on what your system is configured with.  There are three keyboard options:

1.  Non-backlit,

2.  Monochrome backlit

3.  RGB multicolor backlit.

It sounds like your system has the second option -- if you want the RGB keyboard, you'll need to replace the palmrest assembly with one having that keyboard.

To change the keyboard backlight color: Press + < C> keys to cycle through the available backlight colors. White, Red, Green and Blue are active by default; up to two custom colors can be added to the cycle in the System Setup (BIOS).

Could you provide the DPN for the RGB keyboard/palmrest assy?  And is it available in "Dark Shadow Gray"?  I'm trying to upgrade my G15 5520 to the RGB keyboard, from the orange keyboard.
