LCD Change to non touchscreen

Hi. i have a Dell inspiron 15" 5559. Could i change the lcd Touchscreen to non-touchscreen because i drop my laptop so hard and it broke the display. so is there by any chance that i could change it to non-touchscreen? i read a post that you could change  dell inspiron 15 3000 series 3542 touchscreen to non-touchscreen by replacing the LVDS cable. the part number for a non-touch LCD is FKGC9 for the 3000 series. if this is true, maybe it could be done also with the my 5559 model.
