Low Disk Space
Repost because the last one was marked as spam
I have a Dell 5g 15. I love to play video games and got the computer so I would actually be able to run them. Unfortunately, I have been sorely disappointed so far. I got some new games, obviously, but after waiting several hours for the first couple to download, I decided to not download many more. At this point, I had only bought two games. Then I tried to install one of the games I got a few months ago, to find that after only installing two games, I already was out of the required space. Okay, that's fine. I uninstalled one of my two games to make room. Today, I tried to get Arma III. I have cleaned the disk space, got rid of temporary files, compressed what I can. Not only that, but I completely uninstalled every game I have, except for Far Cry 4. Despite all of this, I am still one thousand MB short of room to download the game. What on Earth is the point of buying a gaming computer if it can't even run two games? Can someone explain this to me? Am I missing something? Am I supposed to buy one new laptop for every new game? What is going on? Again, this computer is brand new. I have barely spent any time with that computer on the internet, and I am actually writing this from a different computer. I have not downloaded any mods on Steam. I have literally one game. My trash bin is empty, my desktop is completely 100% clean. I do not at all exaggerate when I say all I have is one game.

I assume you meant the model number is a G5 15 (5587..I would guess). Can you post your storage specs? I am guessing that you have a 128 GB boot drive and possibly a 1 TB HDD. If I am correct then Windows 10 is on the small boot drive and you have been installing games, programs, etc. on the small boot drive. What you should do is keep the small boot drive for your OS and a few important programs and put everything else on the HDD. When you install a game, program, it will ask if you want to install on C: drive...usually Program Files then under a new folder. That can be changed by simply changing the C: to D:. But I am not sure I am correct without knowing your storage specs.

Let me see if that'll work. How do I do that? I don't use Dell often.
Edit: It worked! Thanks!
