Night Light and changing brithness
Hi
when I switch to night light (less blue light) the screen brithness changes when i scroll page, it depends what is currently displayed, for example when there is a darker element on the page whole screen is getting darker.
when i move to section of a page with brighter elements then screen comes back to previous brightness.
this effect doesn't occure when the night light is off.
when i was using older version of inspiron i didn't notice such strange behaviour
my latop is inspiron 14 5000 2in1 win10

Welcome to the Dell Community @rsobies
Night light partially removes the blue light from your screen.
Best regards,

please read my first post carefully. i know what night light is. you don't have to explain it to me.
the problem is when it is turn on and for example during browsing web pages when i scroll down and there is darker element on the page the whole sceen suddenly is getting darker.
it is not normal.

1. Find the small battery icon in the taskbar on the right side of the screen → right click → click on the power option
2. Find the selected power plan and click Change plan settings on the right. Here is the balance of my computer selection. If you choose energy saving, then click Change plan settings on the right side of energy saving.
3. Click on the red box to change advanced power settings.
4. In the pop-up dialog box, pull the scroll bar down, find the display option → find the enable adaptive brightness. Change the options of using battery and power supply from on to off. Click OK→Save settings.
