NVIDIA not found

I bought my laptop in 2022 but did not check for NVIDIA at that time. But now when I checked, it was not showing. It is simply showing that it is not found. I ordered this laptop from the official Dell website, yet how come this major error can occur?

Could be a hardware failure -- or an order that was mis-placed or misunderstood.  The vast majority of Inspiron systems are sold with integrated video only.   Discrete GPUs are optional, and usually on higher-line models (5000 or 7000 series, not 3000).

You can look up the original configuration at dell.com/support using the service tag.  However after three years, if the GPU you thought you had isn't there, there's no way to add it.

@ejn63  But I guess I can request for a replace.

You can ask, but I doubt they'll comply with the request three years after purchase.  And that's if you ordered a system with the optional GPU in the first place.
