pen support and protocols

Question

I recently bought an Inspiron 7435 2-in-1 and was looking to buy a third party stylus/pen, however I haven't been able to find out definitively whether the laptop has microsoft pen protocol/MPP, AES or another protocol. Obviously I don't want to buy a stylus only to discover it's not compatible with my device!

If anyone knows which protocol/s recent dell models use that would be super helpful. Thanks!

@ejn63​ ah okay, do you know if MPP is also used/works on the device? Did try to find out online, some sites say windows 10/11 devices that use windows ink will have MPP but I just want to be sure.
