Precision 5510 Boot issue
I replaced the battery of my Precision 5510 (out of warranty) with a 3rd party battery from Amazon back in December. A few weeks ago, the battery got to 0% and the machine turned off. When I plugged it back in, the machine powered on without me pressing the power button and sat at the Dell logo without ever moving past that.
I've gotten to the ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment by pressing F2 after I plug in the AC adapter and it was claiming the battery was undetected. I just got another 3rd party battery from Amazon and have been trying with that one and it has shown inconsistent behavior. I was able to boot the machine after plugging in the battery (the machine starts) then immediately plugging in the AC adapter before the Dell logo pops up. However, on a restart or sleep of the machine, I am back to the Dell logo with no boot. I just ran the ePSA Pre-boot System Assessment and it says 'all tests passed' but after clicking 'exit' > 'exit and reboot', it just goes back to the Dell logo with no boot.
I haven't been able to find anything like this in the forums, so I'm not sure what to do to fix this.
Thanks!

A genuine Dell battery can be found here.

I don't think it's the battery. The fact that the computer powers on (power button light turns on) immediately after connecting a power source (AC adapter and/or battery) is worrying.
