problem after updating windows
After I updated windows of my Inspiron 7359 some problems appeared, sometimes it doesn't recognize the hard drive and I can't use my laptop, I also can't update the windows again or reset it because i get errors each time. Another problem keeps happening when I put it on sleep, the screen crashes so I have to power it off and turn on again. I chatted with a dell tech support and he offered me to use Dell OS recovery tool app but after I downloaded the windows image, an error occurred when it was writing it on my USB drive. Now the USB drive is useless and my laptop can't recognize any other USB drives. please help :(

Hi try running system file checker and dism to correct errors. You will need to look up the commands because Dell won't let me post them here. I suggest the microsoft community forums.
Try updating your usb and graphics drivers through device manager if you cant find updated ones here.
Try removing your usb controllers and reboot to see if it clears up.
download windows iso .mount it and run setup over your install to fix errors. Be sure to unmount it after.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your message.
What is the error message you get when the hard drive is not detected. Does it say no hard drive detected or not recognized?
Do you get any blue screen error message?
Run a hardware diagnostic by following this link http://bit.ly/2fJuGXB & check if there is any error listed.
Please click on the message tab – click new message & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.

I got a message from Windows 10 two days ago (June 26, 2018) on my Dell Inspiron 15 3567 (brand new I bought it November 23 2018 but only opened the box to use it last month after Windows Update fiascos killed my last laptop) about the latest Windows 10 update. It forewarned that it'd take longer than the usual update so I started it. I was able to log off successfully after letting it do its thing. Yesterday night after work I started my computer at around 9:30pm. The update progressed albeit slowly (it took hours) but nothing could prepared me after the update % reached 100% and the laptop booted to the blue Windows screen with the rolling dots that says "Preparing Windows" would still be stuck there today, June 28, 2018 at 7:30am.
I am so furious. This is the second computer Windows 10 updates has messed up. Has this happened to anyone else? and if so how do I fix this? I have to go out and will leave the laptop running in the hopes that it will successfully complete the update while I'm gone but I know it's not going to happen.
Before this problem caused by the latest updatehappened I'd been getting this message and am wondering if the two are related so I am mentioning just in case:
"Windows Service Start Failure"
Cannot start service from the command line or a debugger. A Windows Service must first be installed (using installutil.exe) and then started with the ServerExplorer, Windows Services Administrative tool or the Net Sart command."
This is all greek to me and I'm **bleep**
Please guys someone help me.

Hi Sunny,
Thank you for your message. I will be glad to assist you on this.
A large Windows update sometime takes a long time to complete, some take up to 2 hours & while updating this remains on the dotted screen. Request you to not turn off your computer & leave the computer plugged to the charger for some time.
If the updates are still not installed after a couple of hours, manually turn off the computer. Run a hardware diagnostics by following the video on this link http://bit.ly/2fJuGXB & check if there is an error.
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
What is a Dell Service Tag and how do I locate it?
