Problem connecting with wifi
My D-link router is fixed at the ground floor office and I am unable to recieve any connection on my Dell Inspiron 3558 from it in the first floor which i used to recieve earlier. I updated my OS(win10) few days back. Could this be the reason of the connection problem? How to solve the problem.

Hi Sonai245,
Thanks for posting. Apologies that your system is not performing as expected.
Wifi issues can be caused by a variety of things from the router itself or the computer.
Do other devices (phone, different computer, etc.) connect with the ground floor router from the first floor?
Have you reset the modem, router and computer to reset their IP addresses?
Does your 3558 connect when you're on the ground floor?
Does the 3558 connect with other routers outside the home (ie: local cafe, work, wifi hotspot)?
Have you run a systems diagnostics? Please run the diagnostics by pressing F12 at startup or by using Dell SupportAssist. Make a note of any error messages encountered, and post back.

Update your wifi drivers as well as any other drivers to Windows 10 drivers from the link below.
