Problem with newly installed SSD
Hey all,
Hoping to get an answer to a problem I am having with my computer. I have just upgraded my laptop with an additional 1tb ssd. I have inserted it, intialised it and formatted it. It is is showing up in my disk management application totally fine. However, when I try to copy footage to it I get an error saying I do not have enough space (which I know is not the case), it is almost like it is not seeing the new space but in the disk management application it is seeing it fine...(see pictures below of my new Samsung ssd and the error message I get).
Does anyone know what is going on?

Are you sure you are trying to copy to the correct drive? That error message refers to a lack of space on the OS drive (C:), not the new Samsung drive.
In File Explorer, try to drag some files to the new Samsung drive to see if it works.
P.S. You should try to free some space on the C: drive. Windows tends not to work well when the C: drive has such little free space.

I second that -- even if you're copying to the empty drive, the virtual memory and operating system are too low on space.
You need to free up space on the C: drive -- then the copying will work.
