RAM UPGRADATION
Hello guys
I have dell 7567 gaming laptop it has currently 8 gb ddr4 ram of single channel (as mentioned in cpuz and specy)..this laptop has two RAM slots, out of two slots only one is been used, max speed is 2400 MHZ and max capacity is 32 gb...i got all this info by doing some research on my end...and i want to upgrade RAM of this laptop... So my question is can I install 16 gb dual channel ram in this laptop or not ?? some RAM'S ON AMAZON are having speed like 2660 mhz these are compatible or not for this pc....If yes then which brand or particular RAM modle is compatible....?? Does this laptop motherboard supports dual channel or not...??
I have these few queries... if anyone knows about RAM's and all that above then please reply asap, any suggestions will be helpful.
I am attaching some of current memory details of my pc
P.S: my laptop is in warranty
Thank you

32 G is max for this system.
Identical means two of the exact same part numbers. There is no such thing as dual channel memory modules - all dual channel requires is a par of identical or very closely matched modules.

The system will operate in dual channel mode with two matched memory modules. Ideally these should be identical, though sometimes mismatched modules of the same speed and latency will operate in dual channel mode as well.
As for speed, that's set by the processor; installing faster RAM may work, but the RAM will simply downclock to its current speed.
As for compatibility, Crucial and Kingston both have configurators you can use to select certified RAM. With anything else, ask your supplier (and if they don't guarantee compatibility, make sure you understand their return policy).

If you add a 16 to your 8, the best you can do is a total of 16 out of 24 G in dual channel mode; the additional 8G will be single channel.
If you want a full dual channel system, order another of the exact same module that's in the system now.
No, the system does not support quad-channel.
DDR means double data rate - DDR-2400 runs at a true 1200 MHz, sampling the signal twice per clock cycle.

What about the max capacity is it 32 gb or more than that?
And what do you mean by identical RAM's??? Can you please explain in brief??
Thank you

Can you please suggest me the compatible 16gb memory module with correct frequency(as I can place max 16 gb in one slot..I guess) which may or may not be identical but makes my system works in dual channel mode.....as I can see the identical one can be purchased through dell genuine parts only but sometimes the part availablity is not there, it takes a lots of time to get part available.so I was thinking to buy it from local retailers/e-commerce or any other and if available then from dell genuine only.
And can we say that this system supported quad channels also??
And in one of the attached image this is written ddr 4 2400(1200)....what is 1200 ?? Is this max bandwidth per slot?? Like 1200 in one slot and remaining 1200 in another slot which makes total 2400.
Thank you sir for your valuable time
