Ram upgrade failure
hello, I recently bought 2x 8gb ddr3 Corsair vengeance laptop ram for my Inspiron 15 7559 and when I plug in the new ram I get the error code for it not detecting any memory but when I plug the old stick back in it detects that. I’ve tried resetting cmos and switching slots and sticks etc and nothing has worked. Any reason this is occurring?

If the new RAM is DDR3, that's the issue - the system supports only DDR3L.

Sounds like that ram is incompatible for you laptop or ordered wrong. May I suggest Dell Ram and or https://www.crucial.com/products which are compatible for Dell Systems.
