Screen bleeding fixable or needs replacement

I’m very sad I haven’t even had or used to much this laptop since I bought it last year and the whole screen bleeds whatever page of screen I was last on. I don’t have a warranty and don’t wanna buy a new one. I would try to fix it myself but is it possible I haven’t seen a screen bleed this bad with others and wanna make sure it’s possible before I open it. I’ve tried using the YouTube video with the colors changes for hours and leaving it alone but nothing helps.

Run the screen diagnostics - hold the D key through powerup.  If the fault appears on the test screens, the only solution is a replacement screen.  If it does not (i.e., the test screens are OK), the problem is elsewhere - could be the video cable or the mainboard.

I think severe screen bleeding is not fixable with software or pressure tricks. If it shows up in the built in screen diagnostic, the only real solution is replacing the display panel.
