SSD storage upgrade

I purchased Inspiron 7572 in Oct 2018 in India which has 128 GB SSD and 1 TB HDD. For some day to day work System drive space (SSD) gets exhausted and find space constraint to install more programs.

I need to upgrade it to 512 GB SSD and checked with Dell for this.

But when I closely saw the System specifications for Dell Inspiron 7572, My SSD drive is SATA interface in contrary to my understanding that it is NVMe type SSD. In System Information of my OS, it shows SK Hynix SC311 SATA 128GB

Can someone confirm, which type of SSD 7572 it contains when shipped.

Storage Specification as per Dell are

Capacity: Hard drive:         Up to 1 TB

SSD        SATA: Up to 256 GB    and   PCIe/NVMe: Up to 512 GB

Your current drive is SATA - you can use either a larger capacity SATA drive, or NVMe (the latter is faster).
