Based on the information provided, it seems that there is an issue with the TDP (Thermal Design Power) of your RTX 3060 graphics card while playing games. The TDP is the maximum amount of power that a device can dissipate under normal operating conditions. When the TDP limit is reached, the device may throttle its performance to prevent overheating and damage.
Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the GPU temperatures using a monitoring software, such as MSI Afterburner or HWMonitor. High temperatures can cause the GPU to throttle down its performance.
Make sure the GPU drivers are up-to-date. Outdated drivers can cause performance issues.
Check if the power settings in Windows are set to high performance mode.
Check the Nvidia Control Panel settings to ensure that the power management mode is set to "Prefer maximum performance".
Check if there are any background applications or processes that are using up system resources, and close them if necessary.
Consider cleaning the GPU and its fans to ensure that they are not clogged with dust or debris, which can reduce their effectiveness in cooling the GPU.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider seeking assistance from a professional technician or contacting the manufacturer for support.
Note that it is important to be careful when handling hardware components, and to ensure that the system is properly grounded to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
