Windows update. sound is bug

Hey guys i have a Dell Inspiron 15 7567 and i saw a few days ago that the new update was kinda of buggy.

I updated my Windows without knowing that. the moment when i turned it on my audio was like not working. I checked the device management and i saw 2 drivers had that triangle warning symbol. so i fixed it by downloading the audio drivers for my laptop.

Now the problem is that the quilty of the sound change like its not what its use to be. I already the wave max audio software and nothing really change there so am kinda stuck i don't really now what to do now.

But thank you in advance

Kindly regards,

Kyle

That's been mentioned in another thread. I ran into the the problem and restored my 7567.

You could try the fix here: https://www.deskmodder.de/blog/2018/10/13/kein-audio-installiert-als-fehlermeldung-nach-dem-oktoberupdate-workaround/

  1. Enter the prompt in the taskbar search and start as administrator
  2. Copy pnputil / enum-drivers into it and press Enter
  3. OemXXXX.inf must be under "Published name" (XXX stands for a number)
  4. Original name: intcaudiobus.inf
  5. Provider Name: Intel (R) Corporation
  6. Class name: System
  7. Class GUID: {4d36e97d-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
  8. Now the correct oemXXXX.inf is important! Replace XXXX with the number
  9. At the command prompt, enter pnputil / delete-driver oemXXXX.inf / uninstall and press Enter. Replace XXXX with the number.

That's what I'll do when the update is forced on me again.
