Which Operating System? Make sure you have the right Dell driver for your current OS.There is an urgent updated driver for win 10. Check device manager to see if the wireless adapter is working. If it isn't you can buy a usb network adapter for an easy fix. Disable the non working internal wireless card if you use the usb adapter.

In "Device Manager" are there any "Unknown Devices"???
Any Device/Hardware that the driver cannot install???
In "Device Manager" under "Network Adapters" can you see your WiFi device???
If "Yes" then right click on the WiFi device and then click on "Uninstall"
Check the box when asked "Delete the driver software for this device"
Reboot and let Windows install the drivers.
