Alvaro,

no specific integration with any archive software for Swift. that said, if the archive software you are looking at has Swift integration already, then no reason why it won't work with Isilon. Is there a specific archive software you want to use with Swift?

HyperV_Guy,

As you might've already guessed, we cannot comment on our product road-map in this public forum, however you are certainly welcome to discuss your feature needs with your EMC account team.  That said, our initial focus on SMB3 has been around SMB3 Multichannel support which is available in the latest GA branch of Isilon's OneFS, which increases aggregate bandwidth across multiple interfaces with unique IP addresses.  Not to be confused with LACP which in a single stream could never exceed the bandwidth of a single interface.  Given your username, are you asking because you would like to use a giant Isilon cluster as a HyperV datastore?  That's just a guess on my part, it's always good to understand the intent of the question, or customer need.

Thanks,

~Chris Klosterman

Didn't know that questions could still be answered after the session was closed. Is the same for all closed sessions?

Tim,

During the session - the identified experts have time in their schedules to actively engage with the community and respond to questions.  Once the session has ended, those experts return to their normal routines.  Any further questions are handled by the community and community management team as per normal processes as any other question being asked.

So you can always ask further questions of the community - but the experts participating in the ATE Session may not be available or responsive.  We will do our best to offer any further responses or thoughts to any inquiry.

Hi Tim,

During ATE we promise that all questions will be answered during the official time frames, but the discussion threads are never closed. You can post your question anytime, and we will try to make sure they get answered, but it might not be answered by the official SME's from that thread.

Hope that helps,

Niki
