Isilon : Temparary enable writes on target folder in SyncIQ

Question

Hi,

For some testing purpose, I have to enable write operations on target folder of a SyncIQ policy for sometime and once testing is done, put the SyncIQ policy sync as is. I am OK to over write target folder if any change made during testing and dont want to do full sync from source to target. What is the best way to achieve this ?

Hi, Thanks for your question. I wasn’t able to find anything specifically. It should be fine to change it do your testing, remove the files then change the policy back.

So just put policy 'manual', change the target directory as 'Write Enable' and once testing done, just change the target directory as 'Write disable' ? Thanks
