Monitor for drives in SMARTFAIL for too long
Issue, job to re-protect the data didn't run, caught it before it caused an issue.
Would like to monitor drives that don't move from SMARTFAIL to REPLACE status, as I understand that means the data has been re-protected to your selected protection level.
I can read the status of every drive from RESTapi. However, from a single poll action I don't know how long the drive has been in SMARTFAIL status. A few hours or days for the reprotect job to run(I think it's the FlexProtect job that is triggered by this?)
Is there an easier way to determin that a drive in SMARTFAIL is not being re-protected in a timely manner?

Hi,
Thanks for your question about smartfail. I am not aware of a command that shows the amount of time that a drive has been in smartfail status. What version of Onefs are you on? It is also possible that it did protect the drive but didn’t update the status properly. https://dell.to/3Op3dWV

Hello Techienet, please run these commands to check the smartfail process on node involved
#isi job status and check if flexProtect or FlexProtectLin ran and then run
#isi job view
here you can see what happened with the disks
this other command is more puntual
#isi job reports list --job-type=FlexProtect
#isi job reports list --job-type=FlexProtectLin
Again after you can check the #isi job vie
another important thing if after run #isi devices drive list you see your disk in REPLACE status your data has been protected and then you can replace that disk
Cheers
