SSH to Isilon node connection failed

Question

Hi,

I have a question about the SSH failed on simulator 8.2

I have a 4 nodes cluster, the original configured as only one node at pool0 for the cluster manage port on System zone.

Then I moved one of the data node to the pool0 manage port, I can access the cluster WEBUI from this node but not SSH.

cluster$ ssh cluster-lnn

Connection closed by 100.10.10.12 port 22

The 100.10.10.12 is the int-a internal network IP.

Thanks, you may want to try reinstalling, as there might have been something that got changed that broke it. Since it is the simulator there isn’t much that we can do or support.

Not quite clear how your networks are actually set up, but you might be trying to ssh to a node via the INTERNAL network from OUTSIDE the cluster (the VM hosting machine). Even is that network is reachable on the hosting machine, ssh would not accept connections. Clearly, the internal network and (external) pool0 cannot overlap.
